Between March 1st and March 11th, a group of 8 Slovenians took part in an international youth exchange in Italy, specifically in the town of Feltre, which has approximately 19,000 inhabitants and is 20 km away from the town of Belluno. The theme of the exchange Empower yourself covered the empowerment of 18 young Slovenians and Italians for the development of independent entrepreneurship in a rural environment. The host organization Rainbow Informal Group pointed out that it is necessary to raise awareness among young people about the importance of young entrepreneurs and their role in leading changes in their local communities and -  more broadly - shaping European society. The leading idea of the project was to provide young people with tangible and practical tools during the exchange, with which they can prepare clear plans for realizing their own business ideas. During the week, the participants, through informal learning methods, delved into the challenges of the city of Feltre, which can be unified with many Slovenian places. In the city center itself, there are many empty usable spaces where innovative young entrepreneurs could add a pulse to the center. Specifically, the participants tried their hand at entrepreneurship at three premises that are in a state of renovation, but will need a plan to bring them back to life, they were; Feltre Castle, theater and archaeological site.   young local entrepreneurs, non-profit associations, "life coaches" and the deputy mayor of the city came to help the participants with motivation, development of versatile projects and methods of their implementation. The participants also spent a working day in Belluno, where they visited the art museum and proposed solutions that would encourage more young people to visit. The exchange ended with the presentation and handing over of prepared business ideas to the students of the local high school and the city management. The impressions of the participants are extremely positive: the historically rich city of Feltre, surrounded by the white peaks of the Dolomites and the typical Italian cuisine impress even the most demanding tourist, and if we add to this the exchange of good practices and the forging of new close friendships, the combination is perfect. The participants took away a lot of useful knowledge, which they promised to use not only in their home environment but also in planning new joint projects.
